Thank you for the recent service you had done on my oil burner and AC. I was shopping for a new service contract and called Folkes Heating. I was pleasantly greeted with a friendly and helpful person, Louise was happy to assist me. While taking my information and scheduling my cleaning she informed me of all the pricing options that were available and then suggested one to best suit my needs.

The day of the scheduled service, Paul had arrived (on time) and spent three hours servicing my units. He had actually taken the time to vacuum it out. I had been with another company for 9 years and not once had they performed that type of cleaning (not to mention the fees were much higher).

I am completely satisfied with the work performed. It is comforting to know that I found a company that I can trust and depend on to deliver quality products and service.

Cooling Installs

Just a quick note to thank you for your quick response to my potential summer air conditioning dilemma. I thought my upstairs central unit had broken under the stress of 100 degree temps and you and your staff responded within hours to evaluate the situation.
...
Luckily it was not a breakdown, but did surface an undersized unit for the area. I, then, contacted you to install a Mr. Slim Mitsubishi Split System to cool my downstairs. The install went very smoothly with your workman and the electrician working together to get the unit up and running within half a day. It works very well and takes the load off my upstairs system so I am now comfy and cool in the hot summer days.

Since the Mr. Slim is also a heat pump, I am looking forward to using it this Fall and next Spring and saving on home heating oil. It also provided some nice rebates from Central Hudson and on my Federal taxes. Thanks for making the installation and paperwork seamless activities.

I would recommend you and your products and services to friends and family.

We are so happy with the central air conditioning system, which your employees installed on 9/03/10. Previous to this installation, when you met with us, we were so appreciative, of the time you took, to explain the various systems available. Your presentation was quite impressive as was your thoroughness in answering all of our questions and eliminating our concerns. We are extremely grateful for that.

When your team arrived, they, too, explained how they would be setting up our home prior to installation. They look extreme caution in placing multiple drop cloths in all areas necessary. During the time it look to complete all work, they remained professional, courteous and available for any questions. When they completed their work, my home was left in the same condition it
was, when they arrived; clean and orderly. They are a dedicated and wonderful team and it was very easy to see how much pride they take in their work!

Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to you and your crew regarding the sale and installation of my new Lennox central air conditioning. As you know my existing system decided to fail on the hottest day of the summer with temperatures reaching almost 100 degrees. Before contacting you, I couldn't even get someone to come out and speak to me about a new system because most dealers were too busy with an increase demand for central air conditioning due to an extremely hot summer.

You quickly scheduled an appointment to review the various models/packages you offer as well as provide information about Folkes Heating and Cooling. You were more than willing to meet with me at my home after normal business hours since I work out ot state and get home very late. I was impressed that you actually took the time to re-calculate the cooling needs of my home and didn't just assume the old system was properly sized.

Upon agreeing on a system and price, your team was here within days to install the new system. The crew was on time, extremely neat and polite considering they were working outside in 100 degree weather and in the attic which was even hotter. The crew got it all installed in one day and did an excellent job. Upon arriving home that evening Mike took me inside and outside to explain/review the equipment and installation.

Your great office staff (Louise and Gary) assisted with setting up the appointments, coordinating the follow-up meeting to review the materials for the tax credits, rebate and extended warranty as well as answer all of my questions.

I'm happy that I selected Folkes for the sale/installation of my new system because it was done right and on time. I'm very satisfied and will definitely recommend your services to others.

On November 9, 2009, Folkes replaced my heat pump and air handler system at my condo located in Pawling, NY. They installed the Lennox HP-14 Heat Pump with an inline humidifier.

I am very pleased with the system. Haven't had it in place long enough to know what I will save on my electric bills, but a neighbor who has the same system, a;so installed by Folkes, has realized substantial savings. I do know that I no longer need to use a large in room humidifier to maintain a measurable relative humidity in the condo. That alone will be a savings.

The workman were courteous, on time, and very neat. The work area was completely cleaned up by them. I'm very pleased with the company and will highly recommend them without reservation.

On Friday, April 11, 2008, your company installed a new furnace at the above mentioned address. The crew that completed the work were professional, neat and polite.

That following Monday I received a call from Gary stating that the men who had installed the furnace had a problem with the electrical part of the furnace.

Within the next couple of weeks, Gary returned to my house with another worker and fixed the problem.

I appreciate the fact that the workers discovered a problem and reported it to their supervisor. They could have just let it go and I wouldn't have known any different. That is a fine example of customer service.
