Well I called the answering service they had DJ call me back asked him if they work on the kind of boiler I had and he reassured me they have techs that know what they are doing they send 2 techs over and neither one of them had a clue what was wrong or what to do so the pressure relief valve is leaking so I kindly asked to replace it so he gives me a price of 547.00 to change a 40.00 part well you can guess what the rest of the story is so in closing they charged me 149.00 to come in my house look at the furnace and tell me that they dont know what's wrong with it now I would like Dustin the owner to call me back so I can discuss this with him.

Renew 1 Gas MA
Performed maintenance on gas boiler. Checked expansion tank, circulator, spill switch, zone valves, aqua stat, pilot and gas valve. Customer had issue with spill switch tripping off and previous invoice stated gust of wind was causing it, there was a disconnected dryer vent hose going outside that was blowing gusts of cold air into unit door, directed dryer vent hose away from system. Recommended to replace 26 year old water heater, customer is 96 and is not interested in replacing system at this time.
Arrived and unit was operating normally again, after testing it the unit did have a code, the red light flashed 3 times saying the pressure switch was stuck open. Replaced pressure switch and tested it. The unit is operating normally.
Completed annual maintenance on gas boiler. Cleaned burners. Tested pilot and rollout switch. Tested gas valve, zone valves, circulator, low water cut off and expansion tank. Expansion tank is 10 years old, recommended to replace. Systems pressure is normal. System operating.
Performed annual maintenance on gas boiler checked all parts and cleaned burners did combustion test
Found bad water cut off, the boiler is filled with water to the correct psi. The landlord did not want to follow through with the repairs.
Renew 1 gas & 1 AC
Completed maintenance on gas boiler. Cleaned burners. Check expansion tank, damper control, low water cut off, back flow preventer, air vent, gas valve, pressure relief valve, zone valves, circulator pump, pilot and igniter. All zones currently operating normally. Water damage on outside of low water cut off, but still working properly.
Found blower wheel blown apart in the housing. Poke with the landlord on the phone and got authorization for the replacement. Replaced and unit is operating normally.
Arrive at customers home found shutoff valve for toilet broken. advised customer it needed replacement but we need to return Monday because if piping coming out of wall continues to crush we may need to pull a couple tiles to get to good pipe.
Found unit tripping out on high limit due to a seized blower motor. Replaced the blower motor and unit is working properly.
Customer stated there was a delay in hearing the blower come on when turning on the heat. It did come on a minute or so after. I tested the unit multiple times, the unit is operating normally, explained to the customer that there is a delay in the unit to have the blower come on a short while after the flame is actually on.
Called out for 2 clogged drains. I snaked the second floor shower stall and removed and excessive amount of hair. The shower is now draining properly. I then removed the the trap under the sink and the connected pipes to clear the debris from the pipes after snaking the line. There is no sign of back ups or leaks at this time.
Found pressure switch not closing and staying stuck open. Furnace was also giving code 3 for a stuck open pressure switch. We will be replacing the switch later in the day the customer has paid in advance.
Found ignition control module locked out on â€œno ignitionâ€ fault code. Reset system and checked sequence of operation. Found igniter not energizing when proper voltage is applied. Replaced hot surface igniter, cleaned burners and flame sensor while furnace was apart. Also inspected heat exchanger due to age of furnace. No cracks or rust holes found at this time. Cycled system operation several times and checked ignition operation. Recommend annual maintenance.
Called out to perform an annual plumbing inspection. After checking all plumbing fixtures I replaced the fill valve in the first floor bathroom toilet. There is a one year warranty on the installation of the fill valve. Cleaned up and collected payment.
Customer had multiple issues with the boiler, the gas valve is not allowing the boiler to start. The pilot lights does come on but the fuel doesnâ€™t come out. The boiler also was over pressurizing due to a bad water feeder. The water feeder was feeding to 24 psi. The customer relieved pressure and turned water off to it to keep the pressure at 18 psi. Customer would like a price on a new boiler.
Arrived at customer home to install new 50 gallon natural gas atmospheric vent water heater. Made all water line, venting and gas line connection. Installed spill switch. Checked for leak. Started and tested. Water heater Bradford white Model#rg250t6n Serial#tm44401413
